In a year-long celebration of Broadway tradition, Camp Broadway will kick off its 15th season with performances by luminaries of the New York stage and launch its 2010 program initiatives. A selection of Broadway's treasured compositions, and a debut of original pieces, will be sung by Natalie Douglas (2008 MAC Award Winner, 2008 Nightlife Award Winner), Alison Fraser (THE SECRET GARDEN, GYPSY), Lisa Howard (...SPELLING BEE, SOUTH PACIFIC, 9 TO 5), Kevin Michael Murphy (YouTube's break out star, Craig Stevens), and Michael Winther (33 VARIATIONS, THE CRUCIBLE, MAMMA MIA!, 1776, DAMN YANKEES), and Camp Broadway Kids from over 30 cities around the country. The concert will take place at the Peter Norton Symphony Space on April 13 at 7:30pm.

Additional appearances in person and via video include Chita Rivera (Chita Rivera: The Dancing Life, Nine, Kiss of the Spider Woman, Chicago, Bye Bye Birdie, West Side Story), Marin Mazzie (Enron, Spamalot, Man of La Mancha, Kiss Me, Kate, Ragtime, Into the Woods), Beth Leavel (Young Frankenstein, The Drowsy Chaperone, Mamma Mia!, 42nd Street, Crazy For You), Jennifer Cody (Shrek, The Pajama Game, Urinetown, Seussical, Grease, Beauty and the Beast, Cats), Sam Harris (The Producers, The Life, Grease), CK Edwards (Billy Elliot), Carey Anderson (Mamma Mia, Avenue Q), Sarah Saltzberg (...Spelling Bee, Don't Quit Your Night Job) and Camp Broadway Alumni.

The performances will serve as a tribute to Camp Broadway partners, supporters and investors, including the Nederlander Organization, The Johnny Mercer Foundation, The Broadway League, Audience Rewards, Broadwayworld.com, Macys, Panasonic, NYC & Co., Broadway artists and producers, and over 250,000 Camp Broadway alumni worldwide.

The concert will act as a launching pad for Camp Broadway's newest youth engagement initiatives including its 2010 New York City Summer Camp, National Tour, Camp Broadway Choir, and Enrichment Workshops.

The 2010 New York City camp sessions are July 12-16 and August 2-6. The weeklong intensive musical theatre experience will feature master classes with current Broadway cast members, a matinee performance of THE ADDAMS FAMILY, Planet Hollywood luncheon with Broadway guests, and classes in singing, acting and dancing, that culminate in a final performance on a New York City stage.

Camp Broadway's 2010 expanded National Tour will run for 12 weeks this summer, making stops in Jacksonville, FL; Tempe, AZ; Beverly, MA; Atlanta, Georgia; Buffalo, NY; Providence, RI; Houston, TX; and Westhampton Beach, NY.
