CHER Opens 'Dressed to Kill' Tour with Signature Costumes & Dazzling Numbers

Legendary entertainer CHER launched her 49-date North American 'Dressed to Kill' tour with a concert at the US Airways Center in Phoenix, AZ last night.

The 67-year-old didn't disappoint, despite revealing to the crowd at the top of the show that some of her costumes didn't fit correctly, she was having trouble remembering song lyrics and the nail of her middle finger had broken off. "Tonight you're going to see the show warts and all," she joked, "but it'll be the first."

Despite all the initial problems, the superstar went on to give a spectacular opening night performance to the sold-out audience, made up of teenagers to grandparents.

According to the Billboard.com's review, Cher's 20-song set included her latest hit, 'Woman's World,' from her new album "Closer to the Truth", "Strong Enough", "Take It Like a Man," "Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves," and "If I Could Turn Back Time". She also paid tribute to her performance in the film "Burlesque" with "Welcome to Burlesque" and "You Haven't Seen the Last of Me."

Despite recently ending her 43-year professional relationship with designer Bob Mackie, last night's costumes, wigs and headdresses didn't disappoint the adoring crowd. Joked Cher of her many costume changes, "Think Lady Gaga has safety pins on her dress? I don't think so. Maybe just vomit," she said, referring to Gaga's recent stunt at Austin's SXSW festival. "That was interesting."

Just after midnight, Cher wrapped things up with a high-energy version of her dance hit "Believe" followed by her recent single, "I Hope You Find It."

The only moment of the show that was met with disappointment and a chorus of boos occured when Cher informed the crowd that the tour truly was the last time she would hit the road. "I swear to God, this is my farewell, farewell tour," she quipped. "I'll be my mother if I do another concert."
