Michael Riedel is reporting in today's New York Post that a slew of Broadway producers including Barry Weissler, Stuart Thompson, Sonia Friedman and others have been heading to see MATILDA, a new musical based on Roald Dahl's novel and are chasing the show for a future commercial run

The musical, based upon Roald Dahl's classic childhood novel of the same name, is about a little girl with extraordinary powers, who decides its time to teach adults a lesson or two. The show began its run on November 9th and runs through January 2011 under the direction of Tony Award winner Matthew Warchus, with book by Dennis Kelly and music and lyrics by Tim Minchin.
