Caitlin Brodnick and Cyndi Freeman love their boobs. They have also both tested positive for the breast cancer gene (the BRCA genetic mutation). What do you do when science tells you you're at high risk for the C-word?

A) Drink heavily

B) Start stripping naked in public

C) Read scary stuff on the internet - obsessively

D) Reevaluate your feelings about Angelina Jolie

E) Make a plan

F) All of the above

As science becomes better at telling us what our medical future holds and as preventative measures ranging from surveillance to surgery to choosing embryos based on genetics become options -- not just for BRCA but for a growing range of disorders -- the only clear choice is to be kind to yourself while getting informed.

This conversational show features stories by seasoned storytellers / comedians Catilan Brodnick and Cyndi Freeman and a Q&A moderated by expert storyteller Erin Barker, best known for her work with Story Collider which presents true, personal stories about science.

Caity & Cyndi's Boobs will play a one-night only performance at UNDER St. Marks (94 St. Marks Place between 1st Avenue and Avenue A) on Saturday, June 13 at 8pm. Tickets ($15; $12 students) are available online at www.horseTRADE.info.
