On opening night of the New York Theatre Workshop production of the world premiere of What's It All About? Bacharach Reimagined, Burt Bacharach will perform on stage with the cast at the end of the performance. The opening is set for this Thursday, December 5, 2013.

Other guests expected to be in attendance at the opening include: Jim David, Dick Cavett, Christina Ricci, Kyle MacLachlan, George Takei, Clive Davis, Mick Jones (Foreigner), Ivo van Hove.

What's It All About? features music by Burt Bacharach; lyrics by Hal David and others, musical arrangements by Kyle Riabko, conceived by Kyle Riabko and David Lane Seltzer, and directed by Steven Hoggett.

The cast includes Daniel Bailen, Laura Dreyfuss, James Nathan Hopkins, Nathaly Lopez, Kyle Riabko, James Williams, and Daniel Woods.

The enduring music of Burt Bacharach is given new life as musician and actor Kyle Riabko (Spring Awakening, Hair) performs his unique, soulful arrangements of the Bacharach songbook with an eclectic group of young musicians and performers. Steven Hoggett, whose choreography has been featured in such diverse works as Once, Peter and the Starcatcher, and Black Watch, returns to NYTW, this time as director. What's It All About? is a re-introduction to the timeless music of Bacharach through the eyes and ears of a new generation.
