Bruce Winant, currently featured in the New York City Opera's production of
The Most Happy Fella, will leave the vineyards of the Napa Valley for the Paris Opera House's catacombs when he joins the touring company of
The Phantom of the Opera.
Winant will play opera manager Monsieur Firmin in the show. After beginning rehearsals on March 25th, he will join
The Phantom of the Opera's touring company at Dallas' Music Hall on April 14th.
The tour, which is currently playing at the Providence Performing Art Center in Rhode Island through March 18th, will also play engagements in Kalamazoo, MI, Jacksonville, FL, St. Louis, MO, and in Canada, Calgary, Alberta, Vancouver, British Columbia, Edmonton, Alberta, and Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Winant, who plays Pasquale in The Most Happy Fella, has appeared on Broadway in Chicago, Miss Saigon and My Favorite Year, off-Broadway in Jolson & Co., and on national tour in Chicago and Les Miserables.For more on the tour of The Phantom of the Opera, visit www.phantomoftheopera.com.
