When a beautiful princess falls under the curse of a wicked sorceress, only the sweet kiss of a handsome prince can save her from eternal slumber. From "once upon a time" to "happily ever after," American Family Theater's (AFT) musical tale of fairy godmothers, magic spells, and true love will enchant the entire family.

AFT is the nation's premier producer of musicals for families and young audiences, and performs at over 300 venues each year. Their award-winning productions reflect a critically acclaimed commitment to full-scale presentations that involve the skills, talent and creativity of outstanding directors, designers, composers, performers and technical personnel.

The centerpiece of BCBC's 2012-2013 family programming, the new Target Storybook Series features performances based on classic and contemporary children's literature. The Target Storybook Series aims to encourage the development of strong reading skills at home in children ages four to eight. All seats for BCBC's 2012-2013 Target Storybook Series are $7.

BCBC has developed a Parents' Guide for each show, with literacy-based activity sheets, reading tips, and discussion topics, giving parents the opportunity to engage their children both pre- and post-performance.
