Ben Cameron (Wicked, Aida, Footloose) is the host and creator of Broadway Sessions at The Midtown Theatre at the HA! Comedy Club (163 West 46th Street / Between 6th & 7th Avenues) every Thursday night at 11:00pm. Broadway Sessions is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week, and features musical director/composer Will Van Dyke (Rent) on piano. In addition after the show we open the microphone up to anyone who wants to sing. Open mic from 12:00-2am.

This Thursday, September 15th, 2011 the weekly show (now in it's 3rd year) will celebrate the birthdays of Sessions producer Donnie Kehr and associate producer Coulby Jenkins. The evening will also feature a special appearance by Christina Crawford.

Christina Crawford is an actress/writer best known for her best selling books ‘Mommie Dearest' and ‘Survivor". Ms. Crawford is currently working on her new multi media one woman show ‘Surviving Mommie Dearest' which will feature lost footage and interview clips of both Joan and Christina Crawford. The show will make it's world premiere in October in Key West.
The evening will feature musical performances by Donnie Kehr (Tommy, Billy Elliot), Gerry McIntyre (Once on this Island), Marty Thomas (Xanadu), Emma Hunton (Next to Normal), Tracy McDowell (Rent), Eric Michael Krop (Godspell), Michael Lanning (The Civil War), Walter Winston O'Neil (Wicked), Jeremy Schonfeld (Drift), Jessica Dillan (Thoroughly Modern Millie), Alan Winner (West End "Gone with the Wind), Cait Doyle (Hot Mess in Manhattan), Vicky Modica, Margaret Kelly, Ricky Schroeder and host Ben Cameron.
Open Mic party goes til 2 am featuring Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano

Broadway Sessions takes place every Thursday evening at The Midtown Theater, 163 west 46th street inside the HA! Comedy Club. Doors open at 10:40 pm with showtime at 11pm and musical theater open mic party goes til 2 am. There is NO cover charge. Donations will be collected for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids.
