The successful alumni of the UNC-Chapel Hill Pauper Players present: Broadway Melodies: New York City Edition, a series of three mini-revues running 75 minutes total. The show will play on January 25th at 5pm at The Underground Theater, located at 955 West End Avenue (107th and Broadway).

Produced by Eric Kallin, the show features Haley Swindal (Broadway: Jekyll & Hyde), Carter Lynch (Nat'l tour: Beauty and the Beast), Aaron Salley (off B'way: Peter and the Starcatcher), Abigail Taylor-Sansom, Julia Yarwood, Laura Posey, Emily Marsland, Geoffrey Bridges, Stephanie Linas, Emily Ellis, and Leah Thomas.
The featured sets are: #WhitePeopleProblems by Lori Mannette, which showcases the (un)pitiful plight of white girls with soul who are never given the chance to play Effie White; A Star is Worn by Sean Casserly tells the age-old tale of a dying Broadway has-been who is given one last chance to leave a mark on the Great White Way; and The Singing Dead by Sean McCracken, a musical apocalyptical zombie extravaganza.

Tickets are $10 at the door with a $15 food/beverage minimum. For more information, visit www.theundergroundnyc.com
