It's a week of Broadway on the talk show circuit, with stage and screen star Hugh Jackman visiting Oprah's set in Australia, Nathan Lane stopping by Late Show with David Letterman, and The View featuring a performance by the cast of SISTER ACT.

Hugh Jackman will appear on Oprah this afternoon at 4 EST, the grand finale of the Australia trip that has been featured in several episodes of her talk show. The episode has already made news because, during its filming in December, the actor and singer received a gash on his cheek under his eye while making an entrance on a zip line. "That was so much fun until the end. I came down waving to everyone, looking over Sydney Harbour, saw my dad, the kids and you, went to pull the brake and then boing," he said after returning to the show. The episode also features Bono, lead singer of U2, who is at present writing the music with band mate The Edge for the highly publicized - and trouble-plagued - SPIDER-MAN TURN OFF THE DARK.

Later tonight, Nathan Lane will appear on Late Show with David Letterman. Appearing in THE ADDAMS FAMILY at the Lunt Fontanne Theatre opposite Bebe Neuwirth through March, Lane has numerous awards to his name, including multiple Tony Awards and Emmy Awards, and was a 2008 inductee into the Theatre Hall of Fame. The episode is set to air at 11:35 pm EST.

Then, on January 24th, producer Whoopi Goldberg and the rest of the ladies of The View welcome SISTER ACT to perform. The West End production of SISTER ACT broke the record for the highest grossing single performance (December 2009) and highest weekly gross (August 2010) for any musical ever at the London Palladium. The Broadway production, which features an original score with music by multi-Academy, Grammy and Golden Globe Award-winning composer Alan Menken, lyrics by Tony Award-nominee Glenn Slater, and a book by multi-Emmy Award winners Cheri and Bill Steinkellner, will begin preview performances on March 24, 2011 and open on Wednesday, April 20, 2011.
