New York City residents are busy preparing for an incoming blizzard, with up to 14 inches of snow falling in Manhattan in the coming days. The storm is set to hit New Yorrk, New England, and parts of New Jersey starting early tomorrow and continuing through Saturday, February 9. Winds could potentially reach 45 miles per hour, with tempertures likely in the 20's.

All Broadway shows are currently scheduled to go on as normal, but be sure to check back for updates! The last major storm that hit the Great White Way, Superstorm Sandy, caused theatre cancellations lasting 3-4 days.

The National Weather Service's Warning (Feb 8 at 6:00 AM through Saturday, 1:00 PM) is as follows:

A blizzard warning means severe winter weather conditions are expected or occurring. Falling and blowing snow with strong winds and poor visibilities are likely. This will lead to whiteout conditions making travel extremely dangerous. Do not travel. If you must travel, have a winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded, stay with your vehicle.
