BROADWAY BARES 15: "Take Two and Call Me In the Morning" was a fever-inducing success with a record breaking $654,000 raised to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. The evening featured 192 of the sexiest chorus boys and girls from Broadway's biggest shows baring (almost) all and "playing doctor" with some of Broadway's biggest stars including David Hyde Pierce, Tim Curry, Christina Applegate, and Bruce Vilanch. The previous record was held in 2004, with $525,000 raised.

Highlights from this year's BROADWAY BARES 15 included:

Christina Applegate walked on stage at Roseland Ballroom in a naughty nurse's outfit and told fans about her much publicized trips to doctors, her infamous broken foot, and her successful Broadway debut in Sweet Charity.

Broadway Bares attendees got a special treat when Shoshana Bean (Wicked) performed the opening number "Doctor's Orders." The song is from the upcoming musical Catch Me If You Can written by Tony Award winners Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman.

Brent Barrett lent his support (via video) when he introduced the number "Viagra-Meata-Vegamin" playing off the classic scene from the television series "I Love Lucy."

Real life couple John Seyla (Movin' Out) and Lisa Gajda (Spamalot) explored their inner Sigmund Freud with the number "Therapy."

Michael McElroy (Big River) performing the show's closing number "Boogie Fever."

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA) is the nation's leading industry-based, nonprofit AIDS fund raising and grant making organization.
