Comedian and actor Brian Posehn is banging his head to the beat of being a Dad in his most recent stand-up special, The Fartist. The one-hour special, which premiered on Netflix earlier this year and was directed by Jay Chapman, will be released on DVD and CD by New Wave Dynamics today, June 25, 2013.

In The Fartist, Posehn raises the questions every parent needs to ask, such as when's the right time to tell your kid about Star Wars, or how much should you tip a stripper?

Posehn, one of the most distinctive voices (and faces) in comedy today, has appeared in or written for countless film and TV projects that riff on his angry heavy metal nerd character. He's appeared in The Sarah Silverman Program, Just Shoot Me and Five Year Engagement; written for Mr. Show, Human Giant, and Metalocalypse; and made himself one of America's major funny men.

His last two albums have scanned over 40,000 units combined. He tours, has a weekly podcast - "Nerd Poker," and writes a comic book for Marvel.
