Bradley Cooper Confirmed For Broadway Return In THE ELEPHANT MAN This Fall!Charismatic and charming leading man and 2014 Best Supporting Actor Academy Award nominee Bradley Cooper is officially confirmed to be reprising his role in the classic drama The Elephant Man on Broadway this Fall according to a new report.

Cooper previously played the iconic role of the disfigured protagonist in Bernard Pomerance's drama at the Williamstown Theater Festival in 2012, co-starring Patricia Clarkson and Alessandro Nivola.

THE ELEPHANT MAN was most recently revived on Broadway in a production starring Billy Crudup back in 2002.

The original production of The Elephant Man premiered in 1979 with David Schofield in the title role, where it received the Tony Award for Best Play, while subsequent notable actors to take on the challenge include Philip Anglim, David Bowie, Bruce Davison and Mark Hamill.

Of note, Cooper previously appeared onstage opposite fellow 2014 Academy Award nominee Julia Roberts in THREE DAYS OF RAIN on Broadway in 2006.
