This summer, Black Angus Productions is pleased to present BUBBA, written and performed by Michael Thomas Walker and directed by Melissa Firlit, as part of the 18th Annual New York International Fringe Festival-FringeNYC.

Winner of Best Variety Show 2012 at the United Solo Festival, BUBBA is a son's journey to the South where he learns the truth about his father's mysterious death. Through laughter and tears, he discovers closure in the strangest of places. A combination of song, dance and gut-busting honesty, BUBBA is the journey to discover the truth.

"It'll make you sing, then you'll cry, then you'll dance, then you sing and dance and laugh and maybe cry some more." - Mark Hughes Cobb, Tuscaloosa News

BUBBA will star Michael Thomas Walker (Non-Stop, Boardwalk Empire, Hairspray National Tour and Walnut Street-Edna, Seussical The Musical National Tour-Horton).

Directed by Melissa Firlit (FringeNYC, Midtown International Theatre Festival, FringeEdinburgh, DreamUP Festival).

BUBBA will feature lighting design by Elaine Wong, costume design by Stefanie Genda, projection design by Tom Minucci, sound design by Latiana Gourzong, and prop design by Laura Williams.
