Fresh off American Idiot's official Broadway opening, Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong visited the SIRIUS XM studios to talk with On Broadway's Julie James. During the interview, which will air in its entirety during the weekly show Broadway Names with Julie James, Billie Joe shares with listeners his reaction to seeing the multi-platinum and Grammy®-winning album come alive on stage at the ST. James Theater.

Billie Joe also reveals how American Idiot went from concept album to rock opera on Broadway. The frontman also addresses the rumors about the Broadway musical version of American Idiot going to the big screen.

American Idiot has received various nominations, including a TONY nomination for "Best Musical."

Broadway Names with Julie James airs Saturdays at 8:00 pm and Sundays at 12:00 pm on On Broadway.
