Damn the Light Promotions (a nightlife based production and promotion company) founded by Mike Greco and MaryAnne Piccolo present a tribute concert to The Who's TOMMY, Monday, January 6th at Duane Park in NYC's East village. This will be a very special one night only engagement honoring this Hall of Fame concept album and infamous rock opera.

Under the direction of Steve Barikian, the event has been carefully sculpted to capture the raw energy of The Who's live performances throughout the years, while still maintaining the delicate nuances of its famous stage productions. Both members of the New York City theater community as well as the downtown rock and roll scene will take the stage on this marquee night!

The Who's TOMMY will star Broadway's Betsy Struxness (Matilda, Memphis, Wicked), and Allison Guinn (Hair, God Hates This Show, Williamsburg). It will also feature, MaryAnne Piccolo (Gary Goldfarb, The Great American Trailer Park Musical), Adam Enright (God Hates this Show, Williamsburg) and Felix Hess (STREB).

Adding some old fashion rock to this all-star cast will be some of NYC' hippest artists; BREEDLOVE (Born This Way Ball Ambassador), Miss Guy (The Toilet Boys), Mike Furey (Dangerous Muse), Danielle Tyler, Shannon Conley (Lez Zeppelin), Christian Dryden (Starbolt 9) and Brian Maverick (The Nuclears).

The evening will be under the musical direction of Mike Greco (Keys). The band line up will include Joe Young (Guitar), Jimmy Caputo (Bass), and Greg Bonasera (Drums).

There will be two performances an 8:30 pm dinner show which includes a $40 prixe fixe three course dinner or seating at the bar (2 drink minimum). The late night show has table service available ($25 per person- food is available) and seating at the bar (two drink minimum). Duane Park is located at 308 Bowery (between Bleeker and Houston). Space is limited. Reservations are required for both shows and both seating options (table and bar). (212) 732-5555.
