A group of artists from various theaters and schools have joined forces to create Bay Ridge Voice, a new vocal studio featuring private lessons and intimate classes designed to help you become the singer you've always wanted to be.

For the aspiring professional singer: BRV has private lessons and special techniques created by famed performers like opera singers Maria Dornya and Marko Lampas (whose credits include studying opera with Maria Callas), which will enhance your breath control, open your vocal range, and even give you a deeper knowledge of music itself.

For those who want to get better parts in shows … locally and beyond: BRV wants you to reach your desired goal with special coaching sessions and audition workshops to help you score that BIG – or special – role.

For those who just want to sing in concerts, choruses, choirs, the shower: BRV broadens your concept of music; helps you to understand your vocal range; and give you the confidence to stand up and sing.

Two studios in Bay Ridge; One in Bensonhurst; One in Manhattan. BRV is connected to several Manhattan theaters. Students have already gotten parts, jobs, and internships at professional locations.

Join Bay Ridge Voice at the first concert and see what it sounds like to really sing. And for those who do their singing from a computer keyboard – ask about our new Playwrighting workshop.

Bay Ridge Voice will play tonight, October 27, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. at The Bay Ridge Jewish Center, located at 405 81st Street in Brooklyn, NY. Tickets are $20.

Featured performers include:
