Barbara Walters to Appear at FORTUNES TAKE Casino Carnivale to Support Letter of Marque Theatre Co., 6/21

Letter of Marque Theatre Company (LOM) has announced that Barbra Walters (courtesy of Puppet Junction Productions) will make a grand appearance to help the new company celebrate the completion of their first season offering innovative theater at no cost to its audiences. The event marking the occasion, Fortunes Take, will take place at Littlefield (622 Degraw St. between 3rd Ave & Nevins) on Saturday, June 21st at 7:30pm and will feature a pop-up casino, live entertainment, a silent auction and raffle, swordfights and more!

Letter of Marque successfully produced and performed two fully staged original plays (Gifts and Bully Me Down) during their inaugural season. They offered both of these shows free, and are similarly opening the doors of their fundraising event with no entry fee. Of course, if you want to purchase VIP tickets, they are available and come with open bar and catering from award winning restaurant Runner & Stone.

The "Pirate Casino Carnivale" theme of Fortune's Take is a fitting one, as LETTER OF MARQUE is modeled after the democratically run pirate ships of the Golden Age. Guests of the event will experience an evening of pirate debauchery and fun as they navigate through pirate themed art installations by set designer Steven Brenman. Live music will get the boat rocking with performances by Jason Trachtenburg & the Pendulum Swings, The Rusty Guns, and The International House of Funk.
