Baldwin, Chase, Luker & More Featured in My Funny Valentine Concert, Feb. 13

An array of stars will celebrate Cupid with New Voices: My Funny Valentine, which will be presented at Symphony Space's Leonard Nimoy Thalia (2537 Broadway at 95th Street) on February 13th by the New Voices Collective.

Kate Baldwin, Will Chase, Jill Geddes, Rebecca Luker, Daniel Reichard and Michael Winther are among the stars who will wax romantic in the concert, which will feature songs by on-the-rise composers and lyricists such as Jennifer Allen, Scott Burkell, Mark Campbell, Sam Davis, David Evans, Jenny Giering, Faye Greenberg, Michael Gruber, Sean Hartley, Tom Herman, Lance Horne, Paul Loesel, Steve Marzullo, Georgia Stitt and Joseph Thalken. The show will be presented by the New Voices Collective, which "provides a forum for a community of artists to develop new works and explore new directions."

Annette Jolles will direct the show, while Danny Burstein (Luker's husband) will take up hosting duties. The band will include Marco Paguia on piano, Ed Matthew on clarinet and Clay Ruede on cello.

Baldwin, who recently appeared regionally in White Christmas and is currently featured in the revue Bush is Bad, has been seen on Broadway in Wonderful Town, Thoroughly Modern Millie and The Full Monty. Chase's credits include Lennon, The Full Monty, Aida, Rent and Miss Saigon. Geddes appeared in the national tour of the Into the Woods revival and has also been seen in Les Miserables, A Doll's Life at the York Theatre and Forbidden Broadway.

Luker received Tony Award nominations for her performances in The Music Man and Show Boat, and has also appeared in Nine, The Sound of Music and The Secret Garden. Reichard, who is currently appearing in Jersey Boys, has also been seen in Forbidden Broadway and Radiant Baby. Winther has been seen on Broadway in The Crucible, Mamma Mia!, 1776 and others. Burstein's credits include A Class Act, Titanic, Company, The Flowering Peach and Saint Joan.
