the show was absolutley fantastic! I never expected such talent from such young people! My favorite characters were the Aunties, Bartley and Johnny and the old lady who was an alcoholic. Go see it!

I'm also not sure that the word 'chosen' was quite correct. In that I don't believe some of them really had the choice to return. Or were forced out because NBCU wanted their salary's.

Anyone who saw Jeffrey Schecter in "A Chorus Line" or the film "Every Little Step" will want to see this production -- even if you do have to take a bus to get there! Jeff is an amazing talent and a joyous entertainer. Watching him work a room is like taking a master class in performance !

You, Kevin sound like a bitter bitch. What's the matter, was someone mean to you today?

It is one thing to critique and another thing entirely to intentionally say as many mean things as your tiny pea brain can think up...negative reviews are sometimes a fact, however this goes beyond critiquing to intentionally insulting as if you are holding a grudge. Funny, you state that you decided not to leave, out of respect for the performers, instead you chose to remain in your seats and "laugh uncontrollably" at them (not very respectful) and then come to the safety of your computer to anonymously bash them and every aspect of the play. I am sure your real name is not Captain Honesty, you chickenshit... It sounds to me like you are blaming a perfectly innocent play for yours and your dates miserable evening. Perhaps instead, it was the company, you don't exactly sound like a joy to be around. Instead, you sound like a seriously vindictive and rejected person with some kind of axe to grind. As a matter of fact, maybe your next date should be one with Kevin! The two of you sound like the perfect match as if you are the same person, both bitter, hostile and venomous! Oh, in case you're wondering.... no one was wondering. Embrace this negative review and use it as a reality check.

Ditto. Was a cute show. If you've seen the movie, you've seen this. Not a big fan of movies to theater and this is a prime example why - cute, but 100 bucks cute?

Season 9 will premiere in March, 2010, with the season showing on NBC Fridays at 9:00pm EST. - NBC Fridays at 9 huh? CI hasn't been on NBC in 2 years. Get your facts straight. I'm done with CI once Goren & Eames are gone. No Goren & Eames No CI!

I saw this, and I agree completely. It was an okay show. Not the greatest, but not the worst. I admit, I saw it mostly because Roger Bart and Brad Oscar were in it, and being a fan of The Producers which they were both in, and I just had to see them. I knew it wouldn't be as good as The Producers, but I hoped it would be okay. And it was. It just wasn't the best musical, but I was able to sit through it an enjoy it, even if I did cringe at some of the dialogue and plot. But I think all the performers did a good job at making up for all that as best as they could.

If you are familiar with any of Shakespeare's plays, if you like fast moving and brilliant dialogue, if you want to be deeply moved,.... this play is a must. I saw it twice in Ashland, I may go down to LA to see again.
Bob Dylan Comes To IU Auditorium 11/2, Tickets On Sale 10/9

Bob Dylan, thanks for robbing everyone of their fucking money that night. Thanks for playing less than an hour AND TAKING A FUCKING BREAK. Picking up your harmonica backwards is really cool. I've worked with dementia patients that can play the harmonica better than he did that night, and at least they're losing their mind. I thought the world of Dylan before this night. Thanks for ruining it, you bastard.

This is the best portrayal of Marilyn Monroe that I've ever seen either on the stage or in films - Sunny captures Marilyn's beauty, intelligence and pathos - I've seen this play twice and will be going again shortly. During the play time flies by and you don't want to even take an interval - you just want to be there in that 'room' with 'Marilyn' and listen to everything she has to say - this really is a must see! I truly can't recommend it highly enough! Go and see for yourself - it's amazing!
