Just saw Adam Lambert of the AMA’s. WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT? I agree with so many others. He did not belong there. Broadway is best he should or could or might do. The performance was not for the younger “kids” at the Kodak….can not imagine ABC even allowed such sexual crap to air. I was so waiting for him to perform. It was nothing short of bad taste and self-indulgence. Couldn’t wait to remove it from the TIVO!!!! ABC should be apologizing but then they allowed it to air so doubt they’d have the good sense to make amends for their huge error in judgement.

true, that. the inconsistency in vidals' statements around that play seem to lend itself to further inquiry: late 2007 he's saying there were only 10 pages, by 2009 on CSPAN he's saying the play was in "quite good shape, bit like Camino Real". in.ter.es.ting.

Just viewed Adams AMA performance... way too over the top... boardering on pornographic... too bad he feels he has to shock us instead of just reaching us with his voice. I'm terribly disappointed. My kids and I were huge AI supporters of Adam, but I feel I can't allow them to continue to follow his career because of his obsene gestures and actions. Dare to be different Adam, but have some lines you won't cross. Remember you have many young fans. This is one parent that supports you, but will from now on censor you before she allows her kids to watch. The number tonight made us all uncomfortable in our own livingroom. Too bad, we really are hugh fans, but his private sexual fantasies need to be kept private!

This was a fantastic show. Admittedly, I am a fan of all the actors in this show, but they did a terrific job of pulling the audience in and making us feel we were overhearing what was happening rather than being shown a play. It was exhilarating! There were a few line flubs - not unexpected for the first night and it was great to see how the actors helped each other when mistakes were made. They really worked together to make it a success and that helped the audience appreciate it all the more. Listening to the comments of others around me, I think it was a huge success for all. I know that it made my whole New York experience a dream come true and I will be back soon! A very funny and thought provoking play in a very intimate and comfortable theater.
