SPECTACULAR! PREVIEW

The Nickelodeon original movie "Spectacular!" DEBUTS TONIGHT at 8pm (EST) on the cable channel and the buzz is so hot we had to bring you the trailer for it!

"Spectacular!"  isn't just Nickelodeon's answer to the mega hit Disney "High School Musical" franchise, it is also another reminder of the powerful return of the old-fashioned, "I wanna make it" musical that once ruled the movies screens of America. Remember Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland in 'Babes in Arms" or "Thousands Cheer", anybody? The chance to inspire new generations through song and dance is as strong as ever and "Spectacular!" should prove very embraceable to its young audience as it makes its debut tonight on Nickelodeon.

Press notes describe the show as, "Nikko (Nolan Gerard Funk) is the next rock superstar and he plans to conquer the world with his band, Alloy. Courtney's (Tammin Sursok) world revolves around her sequin-filled show choir, Spectacular. But when Alloy kicks Nikko out of the band and Spectacular loses their best male singer to a rival choir, Courtney convinces Nikko to join Spectacular. Will Nikko be the force that Spectacular needs to finally beat their rival choir, Ta-Da? Or will Nikko's rock edge be too much for the glittery world of the show choirs? Get your jazz hands ready because this is going to be SPECTACULAR!"
