My interest in the theatre had started at a very young age. The place where I finally pursued the theatre was at Parkway Middle School of the Arts. It feels like I had walked in here just a few days ago, but the fact that we're leaving in a few days is still surprising to me. I have noticed that a lot of us had started off as mere amateurs. We just decided to try something that seemed fun! But over the years, we've got to see each other grow and improve in so many aspects... And it's fascinating how far everyone has come.

I've had a great time at this school. There were so many various opportunities that came towards our way and the fact that we conquered those opportunities with such determination and talent is something that has made us who we are today. At this school, theatre was something that filled a lot of us with excitement. We spent lots of time rehearsing songs that we would plan on using for an audition the next school year. It's sad to know that I won't be able to audition or perform at this school again.

Yet, I know that leaving will help all of us grow even more. In the theatre, you just can't stop growing. We will all end up using what we learned here and we will build on that. We will all go on to do greater things, and this school was only a foundation or a base for what we have in store for us. Being in the theatre, you're always learning and inventing new techniques that will improve how you perform and work with others.

We're all upset about leaving, and it seems difficult to understand that maybe a change will be good for us. This school was one of the greatest opportunities I've had in my life, but it's time for us to accept that there's much more that's still waiting in the future. We have to continue growing so we can reach our full potential.

Even though I'll never ever forget the wonderful time I had with this school and everything that I've learned, I know that what I've done here is only the beginning. I can't wait to see how much we accomplish in the very near future.
