For the first time in fifteen years, Broadway Bares, the unrivaled evening of sexy striptease that benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, will have a new home. The 24th edition will take over the Hammerstein Ballroom located in Manhattan Center (311 West 34th Street, NYC) on Sunday, June 22, 2014. Tickets go on sale today, January 15.

This always sold-out annual event combines the naughtiness of burlesque and the razzle-dazzle of Broadway. More than 200 of the hottest male and female dancers in New York City take to the stage for two sensational shows at 9:30 PM and midnight. This year's edition of Broadway Bares will be directed by Nick Kenkel (Catch Me If You Can, Peepshow, Legally Blonde). This year's theme and special guests will be announced in the spring.

The 2014 Broadway Bares season will officially kick off Sunday, January 26, when Broadway Bares: Winter Burlesque heats up XL Nightclub (512 West 42nd Street, NYC). This year's Winter Burlesque show, dubbed Calendar Girl, will reprise last summer's Fire Island Pines sensation inspired by 1999's Broadway Bares IX: Calendar Girl. More than two dozen of New York theatre's sexiest dancers will take the stage in a stimulating strip-a-month journey through the calendar. With performances at 8 and 10 PM, tickets start at $25 and include a limited number of VIP tables. The show will be followed by Bares' famous "rotation" where the performers freestyle dance for donations.

The 2013 Bares season will continue with Broadway Bares: Solo Strips in May before concluding with the Broadway Bares 24 on June 22.

Tickets for Broadway Bares 24 and Broadway Bares: Winter Burlesque are on sale now at broadwaybares.com or by calling 212-840-0770, ext. 268.

Prices for Broadway Bares range from $50 to $1000. VIP tickets include open bar and reserved table seats from special viewing areas. Also available is the exclusive "Stripper Spectacular" package, which includes a reserved table seat at either show, admission to a private cocktail party with Broadway Bares creator Jerry Mitchell, a backstage tour, and more.

For Broadway Bares: Winter Burlesque, reserved table seats start at $100. There is a two-drink minimum per person at reserved tables. General admission standing tickets are available for $25.

Broadway Bares was created in 1992 by Tony Award-winning director and choreographer Jerry Mitchell (Kinky Boots, Legally Blonde), who serves as executive producer. It is produced by and benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Last year's Broadway Bares 23: United Strips of America raised a record-breaking $1,430,241, the highest total of any edition of Bares. The first Broadway Bares featured seven dancers stripping on a bar and raised more than $8,000. To date, the 23 editions of Broadway Bares have raised more than $11.3 million for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

The presenting sponsor of Broadway Bares is M•A•C VIVA Glam, with generous support from BC/EFA corporate partner United Airlines.

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS is one of the nation's leading industry-based, nonprofit AIDS fundraising and grant-making organizations.
