Help bring the chickens "home to roost" for their second showing at the BPA Gallery in the First Friday Art Walk: "Backyard Chickens" edition. Join us February 3 from 5 to 7 p.m. for an artist reception and a fun evening of art, food, and friends.

Unique chicken portraits on cedar and humorous chicken block prints by local artist Matt Pedersen highlight his passion for the urban farm movement. The chicken portraits express the stoic qualities of the subject through detailed wood burned images, while his colorful small scale prints bring to life the peculiar personalities of chickens and their owners.

The BPA Gallery showcases regional artists in monthly rotating exhibits in the C. Keith Birkenfeld Lobby and regularly participates in the First Friday Art Walk from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.Gallery hours are 12:00 - 5:00 p.m. Tuesday - Friday plus one hour prior to each performance. Admission is free, and information is available online at www.bainbridgeperformingarts.org, by phone at 206.842.8569 or in person at BPA, 200 Madison Avenue North, Bainbridge Island.
