Tonight, May 21, 2012 marks the third production of BC Beat at Cielo (18 Little West 12thStreet). Produced by Jennifer Jancuska and The BringAbout Productions, BC Beat offers the Broadway and dance communities another unique and exciting way to experience dance. Focused on storytelling and set in a club with the best sound system in NYC, BC Beat will feature new work by eight highly anticipated choreographers from genres including musical theatre, contemporary, jazz and tap. Smack in the middle of the club, with the audience surrounding the sunken stage and close enough to touch the dancers, choreographers will present their unique way of storytelling and vision for Broadway's future.

Jennifer Jancuska, producer, comments, "BC Beat provides a platform where creatives can experiment and demonstrate new methods of storytelling for innovative producers, agents, directors, composers, and designers to spark conversation, connection, and support. Setting BC Beat in a club and positioning the incomparable Declan Bennett at the DJ booth who drives beats from the moment the doors open, creates a dance floor that is both a performance and social space. The excitement and energy is contagious and so much fun to experience!"

The event kicks off tonight May 21, 2012, at 7pm at Cielo (18 Little West 12th Street, NYC). Tickets are $12 Brown Paper Tickets and $15 at the door. To purchase, go to http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/244584.
