"Half Stitched" is the story of six strangers attending a quilting class and the Amish widow who teaches it. Cultures and personalities clash in this Broadway-style musical dramedy that has audiences laughing, fighting back tears and humming along to unforgettable melodies.
The show's roots begin with a novel and its writer, Wanda Brunstetter. She is the award-winning author of over 90 books, including "The Half-Stitched Amish Quilting Club", on which the musical was based.
Ms. Brunstetter will be greeting fans and signing books in the front lobby of the Bird-in-Hand Restaurant & Smorgasbord, located at 2760 Old Philadelphia Pike in Bird-in-Hand, on Wednesday, June 7 from 10 am - 12 pm in the Stage lobby area from 4 - 5 pm. Her books are available for sale in the Bird-in-Hand Restaurant & Smorgasbord lobby.
"Half-Stitched" will be appearing live on the Bird-in-Hand Stage through September 2. For tickets and information, call 800-790-4069. For more information about Bird-in-Hand Stage, go to www.Bird-in-Hand.com.
