Atlanta Lyric Theatre presents this "tale as old as time" June 9-25, 2017. With music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, and book by Linda Woolverton, Beauty and the Beast is a family favorite that has played to over 35 million people worldwide! Beauty and the Beast performs at the Jennie T. Anderson Theatre (548 South Marietta Pkwy., Marietta). For tickets, reservations and group pricing visit www.AtlantaLyric.com or call 404-377-9948.

Based on the Academy Award winning animated feature, Beauty and the Beast is the story of Belle, a young girl dreaming bigger dreams than her provincial town can hold. When she encounters the Beast, a young prince under a spell and confined to his enchanted castle-all of those dreams may stand to come true. This famous love story has had many adaptations, including the recent motion picture released earlier this year. However, nothing can quite match being captivated by Beauty and the Beast live on stage. Thrilling production values, beautiful music and incredible theatre magic make this experience truly unforgettable. Your whole family is sure to leave the theatre singing the musical's classic songs and might even share one or two with a cast member in the lobby!

The outstanding artistic and production team for Atlanta Lyric's production of Beauty and the Beast features direction by Robert Adams, music direction by Chris Brent Davis, and choreography by Cindy Mora Reiser. Fourth Wall Productions creates an innovative and original set design complemented with lighting design by Ben Rawson. Sound, Costume and Wig Design will be created by John McKenzie, Amanda Edgerton and George Deavours, respectively.

Making her Atlanta Lyric debut as Belle is the delightful Lauren Hill. A Sophomore at Brenau University, Lauren is no stranger to the stage and her youthful charm, along with her prodigious talent, bring Belle to life with spirit and authenticity.

Logan Denninghoff, returns to the Atlanta Lyric Stage as the Beast. While you might not recognize him under his fur and fangs, you are sure to recognize his powerful Baritone voice heard on our stage in Barnum, Spamalot, White Christmas, Guys and Dolls and more! Logan joins this cast after spending a year on the National tour of Beauty and the Beast in the role of Gaston.

Speaking of Gaston, Larry Cox will "fill-out" the role in his own right! You last saw Larry on the Atlanta Lyric Stage in Leader of the Pack. Gaston will of course be accompanied by his ridiculous side-kick Lefou- played by Brian Jordan. Belle's endearing father, Maurice, will be played by George Deavours, last seen on Atlanta Lyric Stage as Gus in CATS.

The memorable collection of enchanted objects includes Atlanta favorites Jeff McKerley as Lumiere, Robert Wayne as Cogsworth, Marcie Millard as Mrs. Potts and Bonnie Harris as Babette. Opera singer Heather Witt, joins the Atlanta Lyric for the first time as Madame de le Grande Bouche, an unusually clamourous wardrobe.

The cast also includes Vinny Montague, Lauren Brooke Tatum, Taylor Kate-Eubanks, MK Sagastume, Ciara Jones, Imani Joseph, Nick Battaglia, Daniel Robert Fobes, Avery Gillham, CJ Babb, Ethan Steinberg, Chris Saltalamacchio, Olivia Owens, Autumn Bristow and Abby Goldberg.

Beauty and the Beast is the final show in Atlanta Lyric's 2016/2017 season.

The Atlanta Lyric's 38th season of musicals will kick off in the fall with My Fair Lady, followed by the Kander and Ebb review The World Goes 'Round, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Always... Patsy Cline and Tarzan the Musical.
