Arts Horizons' 'Broadway Salutes' Benefit Features NEXT TO NORMAL's Tom Kitt, 11/16

Tom Kitt, Tony Award-winning composer of Next to Normal will be a featured performer at the annual gala for Arts Horizons, Broadway Salutes. He will be joined by additional special guest Celeste Holm, Oscar winner for Gentleman's Agreement and Oscar nominee for All About Eve. The event will take place at The Edison Ballroom on Monday, November 16 from 6:00pm - 10:00pm.
This year's event, hosted by WABC anchor Lauren Glassberg, will celebrate writer/performer Bonnie Comley and producer Stewart F. Lane and will include live performances with performers to be announced, a live auction and dinner.

Two of Broadway's up-and-coming stars, Jennifer Damiano and Adam Chanler-Berat, will take their turn in the spotlight at Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette Street, NYC / Between East 4th and Astor Place) on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 as part of Sh-K-Boom & Ghostlight Records' ongoing concert series. According to a new season announcement from Broadway/San Diego, a National tour of the Broadway sensation 'Next To Normal' is headed to the Balboa Theatre in downtown San Diego for a limited engagement run from January 18 to 23, 2011. The announcement from Broadway/San Diego reads, "And don't miss NEXT TO NORMAL; a thrilling emotional powerhouse about a loving family trying to take care of themselves and each other; the acclaimed, groundbreaking musical "that pushes Broadway in new directions" (Rolling Stone)."
Real-Life Couple Sarah Uriarte & Michael Berry Could Lead NEXT TO NORMAL Next Month
BroadwayWorld has confirmed that come next month, Broadway's NEXT TO NORMAL may welcome a new, real life couple into the roles of Diana and Dan. Sarah Uriarte Berry (The Light in the Piazza, Taboo), is now preparing to understudy Diana when regular understudy Jessica Phillips is on vacation the week of February 15. The role of Diana will continue to be played by Tony-winner Alice Ripley. Her husband, Michael Berry, currently understudies Dan and Dr. Madden/Dr. Fine. If all aligns, the couple could appear opposite one another during that week.
Photo Flash: Kyle Dean Massey Joins NEXT TO NORMAL
Aaron Tveit left the Tony-nominated musical Next to Normal on January 4 and the role of Gabe is now being performed by Kyle Dean Massey. Massey previously played the role during Tveit's summer absence from June - September, while he was starring in Catch Me If You Can.
