ArtsWest has announced the return of the longest running production in Seattle theatre history, as four angry housewives take the stage on April 23rd. Premiering in 1983, this musical went on to play for nearly seven years in Pioneer Square Theatre spaces, burning it's songs and cut-loose attitude into Seattle's history. With an Off-Broadway stint in 1986, the production has had a healthy run in regional theatre, including most major cities in America.

Created by Seattleites Chad Henry and A.M. Collins, this production is coming home for a five week run to be directed at ArtsWest by Gregory-Award winning director Shawn Belyea, with music direction by Nathan Young, and choreography by Troy Wageman.

Bored with their everyday mediocre existence and tired of the men in their lives, our four heroines get angry and form a punk-rock band to win some much needed cash in a local contest. Beginning with the first licks, this satirical twist on 1980's feminism turns into a feverishly-rompy punk-rock musical.
