Carolines on Broadway announces its line-up for the month of January 2016, highlighted by headliners Joe Machi, a finalist from Season 8 of NBC's "Last Comic Standing," January 1 - 3; Michael Blackson, "The African King of Comedy", January 7 - 10; Artie Lange, host of "Artie Lange's Uncensored Podcast," January 15; Charlie Murphy, from Comedy Central's "Chappelle's Show," Martin Luther King, Jr. Weekend, January 16 & 17; Whitney Cummings, from her HBO special, "I'm Your Girlfriend," January 20 and 21; Eric Andre, star of Adult Swim's "The Eric Andre Show," January 21 - 23; and J.B. Smoove, from HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm," January 28 - 30.

Theme nights in January at are Carolines' New Talent on January 4, 11, 18 and 25; Carolines Presents, on January 5 and 14; Ladies Night with Robyn Schall on January 6; Desperation Tonight with Pat Dixon on January 6, 13, 20 and 27; and the Breakout Artist Comedy Series on January 12 (with Omar Thompson) and January 26 (with Kenny DeForest).

Other shows taking place at Carolines on Broadway in January are Dark Places with Bob Kitson on January 7 and Brunch Night with Jamie LeeLo, featuring special guest Rich Sommer, from AMC's "Mad Men" and Off-Broadway's "Buried Child," on January 13.
