2010 MAC Award Nominee Joshua Warr is launching his new Production Company this year and is celebrating with a star-studded concert fundraising event with more than a few tricks in the bag.

Art of Warr Productions will be a production group whose aim is to produce theatre (Dramatic/Musical/Dance) that will appeal to the young adult/adult audiences. Our primary goal is to establish a haven (World Warr) wherein ideas can be generated and then executed with financial resources.

Art of Warr Productions will work with themes that are socially relevant, morally stimulating and emotionally exhilarating. Art of Warr Productions vows to create art that pushes boundaries and influences the artistic community with bold ideas and rich development.

Why come? With ‘kickstarter.com' blazing the helping way for young artists to raise money for future projects, Warr had an idea to take it all to the next level! With the help of his friends from Broadway, Cabaret and Dance, Warr is raising money for the launch of his new production company - Art of Warr Productions. Raissa Katona Bennett: On Broadway, Raissa performed the leading role of "Christine Daae" in PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, as well as in the Los Angeles and National Touring Companies of PHANTOM. Also on Broadway, Raissa appeared in the Actor's Fund Benefit Concert of CHESS with Josh Groban. She appeared in the First National Tours of CATS as "Jellylorum/Griddlebone" and " Jennyanydots" , and as "Lizzie Phagan" in PARADE, where she worked with the original creative team of director Harold Prince, choreographer Patricia Birch, author Alfred Uhry, and composer Jason Robert Brown. Raissa also produced and starred in the benefit, CALLING ONE AND ALL... at Radio City Music Hall, starring the late Vincent Gardenia. As a cabaret performer, Raissa received the 2010 Bistro Award for Outstanding Achievement as the creator, producer and host of THE CONCERTS AT TUDOR CITY GREENS, which is dedicated to preserving the green spaces of NYC, while introducing a whole new audience to the artists of the cabaret and theater communities.

Natalie Joy Johnson: Made her Broadway debut as "Enid Hoopes," the law school lesbian, in LEGALLY BLONDE the Musical and just returned from playing "Paulette" in the national tour. Other credits include BARE: A POP OPERA ("Nadia"); BUT I'M A CHEERLEADER ("Sinead"); JOY ("Kegan"); and the national tour of GODSPELL (Bless The Lord). Her concert act, Natalie Joy Johnson WITH OUR Lady J AND THE PINK CHAMPAGNE ORCHESTRA (featuring the Bubblies), sold out shows at Joe's Pub, Ars Nova, the Cutting Room and all over Los Angeles.

Rosemary Loar: Loar' s theatrical expertise was honed on Broadway and in national tours, in shows like SUNSET BOULEVARD; CATS (critically acclaimed as "Grizabella" ); YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU; CHESS; ONCE UPON A MATTRESS (understudy to "Queen Aggravain" ); ENCORE; and 42nd STREET (understudy Dorothy Brock.) She originated the role of "Gladys Fritts" in RADIO GALS at the John Houseman Theatre. She was a headliner for the PBS special, NEW YEARS EVEN WITH Guy Lombardo. Rosemary Clooney was rushed to the hospital and Rosemary Loar came to the rescue: with all the keys a fourth higher. As a concert performer she has appeared at: Carnegie Hall (the day after she was married); 92nd Street "Y" ; at Town Hall in Garrison Keillor's PRAIRIE HOME COMPANION; with the North Carolina Symphony; the Orlando Symphony and with the Peter Duchin and Nelson Riddle Orchestras. MEL & EL: are Melanie Adelman and Ellie Dvorkin - real life best friends who have known each other since they were 12 years old. The widely acclaimed act has quickly become an award- winning NYC cult phenomenon, having recently concluded a year-long, critically acclaimed run of MEL & EL: THIS SHOW RHYMES at The Duplex - which was developed in conjunction with Cannery Works. Past appearances include NYMF, The Hysterical Festival, Nice Jewish Girls Gone Bad, On the Rocks with Danny Leary, The Big Gay Variety Show, Dykes on Mics, Homo Comicus, Hedda Lettuce's TossEd Salad and here! TV's Busted. and at popular venues around New York including The Box, The Zipper, Gotham Comedy Club, The Stonewall, Therapy, The PIT and Comix.

Molly Pope: is a critically acclaimed actress and concert artist whose shows include: THE DIVA-LUTION OF Molly Pope (Joe's Pub, The Laurie Beechman Theater); THE Molly Pope SHOW (Joe's Pub); and INTRODUCING Molly Pope (Joe's Pub). The "viscerally thrilling alto" (Time Out New York) is a regular in the hit monthly TOP TEN COUNTDOWN, OUR HIT PARADE at Joe's Pub and is a frequent guest at THE MEETING with Justin Sayre. On stage she has appeared as: "Regan" in KING LEAR (Gallery Players/Players Shakespeare); " Young Woman" in MACHINAL (Dreamscape Theater); "Maria" in TWELFTH NIGHT: THE DRINKING GAME (Legitimate Theater Co); and " Fran" in SWING FOR VICTORY (National Tour). On camera work includes: LAW & ORDER SVU; SECRET OF THE MYSTIC ORACLE; HUNTING; and at the Big Apple Film Festival, and promotional spots for Papa John's Pizza, Sundance Channel and Bristol Myers Squibb. She earned a BFA in drama from New York University.

Sarah Rice: Broadway: Original "Johanna" in SWEENEY TODD (Theatre World Award). She has been well known for her numerous operatic performances, including THE MARRIAGE OF FOGARO, THE BARBER OF SEVILLE, and THE STUDENT PRINCE. She has also performed in the leading role of "Christine" in Andrew Lloyd Webber's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA in Montreal.

Miles Phillips (Director): is a multiple award-winning actor, director, nightclub vocalist, writer and recording artist with credits from Honolulu to London. He has numerous leading New York and regional theatre roles, various film, television and concert appearances, a popular solo album and a score of original and studio cast recordings to his credit. Phillips has received numerous awards, including the Hollywood Drama-Logue and Chicago's Jeff Award for his work as an actor, multiple honors for his work as a director, MAC Awards for four of his cabaret shows and been twice honored in the category of Outstanding Cabaret Male Vocalist at the NY Nightlife Awards. He's currently directing a film as well as several stage productions, working on a new album and writing a new screenplay.

Tracy Stark (Musical Director): a 4-time MAC Award winner, a Bistro Award winner for Musical Direction, and winner of the Dottie Burman Songwriter of the Year Award. Tracy has worked with Lesley Gore, Phoebe Snow, Karen Black, Randy Jones (Village People), Jimmy Osmond, Tovah Feldshuh, Eric Millegan, Tonya Pinkins, Ann Crumb, Marni Nixon, and hundreds of other rock, jazz, and Broadway vocalists. She has conducted, played, and sung at all the finest and the sleaziest venues all over the world. She has played/conducted on numerous television shows, including The Today Show. Her songs are included on at least 20 different compilations, and have been winning accolades in songwriting competitions for the past two decades. Her last CD, ‘Feast for the Heart' is exquisitely produced by Richard Barone, and includes a duet with the inimitable Phoebe Snow. She is currently in the process of recording a new CD, on the wonderful MIRANDA MUSIC label.
