This month, Ariana Restaurant (138-140 W. Houston St.), the stunning one-of-a-kind modern Russian establishment in SoHo, will begin a special live music and gourmet five-course dinner pairing experience, the Classical Music/Contemporary Cuisine Series ($85/pp, includes two cocktails). For reservations email contact@arianasoho.com or call 646-678-4334.

The first night will be Wednesday, October 22 at 7pm, and the series will offer New York City diners and music lovers a uniquely entertaining evening consisting of a 30 minute live sit-down musical concert followed by a delectable five-course dinner from the inspired Ariana menu. Guests in attendance can expect to find several mouthwatering options for their five courses including an Assorted Cured Fish Platter; Duck or Sturgeon Pelmeni (dumplings); Beef Stroganoff; Cranberry Artichoke Scallops; and for dessert either the Medovik (honey sponge cake) or the Kartoshka (chocolate butter cake). The full menu for 10/22 is at the bottom of this press release.

The concert program will include at least one work by a Russian composer and showcase incredibly talented classical musicians from all over the world and a grand piano furnished by Yamaha. Bulgarian born pianist Nadejda Vlaeva will be featured on the first night of the series; here in NYC she has performed at the Carnegie Recital Hall, the Rose Hall at Lincoln Center and at Merkin Recital Hall.

The second night of the series is scheduled for Tuesday, October 28 at 7pm which will feature pianist Sandro Russo who has performed in such prestigious concert halls as the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Weill and Zankel Halls at Carnegie Hall, Salle Cortot in Paris and Teatro Politeama in Palermo.

The evening will begin at 7pm with a meet and greet in the lounge at Ariana Restaurant where guests enjoy a specialty cocktail prior to heading into the Skylight Room at 7:30pm to be seated for that evening's concert performance. The music and artistry is sure to provide an opulent appetizer for the ears prior to attendees enjoying the five-course dinner, which will begin being served shortly following the performance.

Combining both old and new world traditions, the elegant and inviting décor of Ariana Restaurant, coupled with its thrilling take on modern Russian fare will make the Classical Music/Contemporary Cuisine Series a truly memorable evening and a spectacular feast for the senses.

Ariana Restaurant is the brain child and first conceptual restaurant from Russian American recording artist Ariana (Ariana Grinblat) and executed by St. Petersburg born Executive Chef Vitalii Kovalev. The restaurant debuts the culinary genre of modern Russian fare. For more information, visit www.ArianaSoHo.com.
