The Annoyance Theater, home of the longest running musical, offers its latest creation, the parody The Bargain Bin Sale of a Lifetime, a bizarre take on the QVC and Home Shopping Network (HSN). What at first appears to be a play about a home shopping-style tv show soon spirals into musical numbers, 80s montages, post-apocalyptic scenarios, a homicide mystery and (of course) a scene in a shoe store. Oh, and a dictator known as The Overlord. In a world where every product can be described as "amazing" and "life-changing," four salesmen learn about what truly makes their lives worth living: the bargains.

The Bargain Bin Sale of a Lifetime is the brainchild of actor/writers Greg Boz, Michael Short, Alex Meyers and Eric Yearwood. Using improv techniques learned at The Annoyance Theater, the performers found the show's genesis in a single improv scene that parodied infomercials and built upon that to create the full play. The Bargain Bin Sale of a Lifetime is directed by Adam Cole.

"The Bargain Bin dudes have taken a sketch comedy show and sewn it into a slapstick narrative packed with frenetic energy and technical chaos. (There's also a scene in a shoe store.) It's like a sequel to The Book of Revelations, but funnier and more believable. I'm proud to have been a part of it." says director Adam Cole.
