Concert and cabaret artist Anna Bergman returns to Feinstein's at Loews Regency (540 Park Avenue @ 61st Street) on Friday, January 13 and Saturday, January 14 (8:30pm). Anna will premiere her new show "You & the Night & the Music: An Evening of Musical Imports & Exports" featuring her musical director and arranger Alex Rybeck, Jered Egan on bass and directed by Jeff Harnar.

In "You & the Night & the Music: An Evening of Musical Imports & Exports," Anna presents an international musical scrapbook and audience favorites from her live appearances and her PBS special "A Salon with Anna Bergman." From the American songbook, Anna includes selections by Cole Porter, Leonard Bernstein, George & Ira Gershwin, Richard Rodgers, Jerry Herman, Maury Yeston and Adam Guettel. Raised abroad as the daughter of an American diplomat and an actress, she pays tribute to her European roots with Parisian chanson, Viennese operetta and Italian opera, and pays homage to artists who inspired her such as Edith Piaf and Marlene Dietrich.

About Anna: "Anna Bergman is delighted to return to Feinstein's at Loews Regency where she premiered her shows "Wherever Love Takes Me" and "My Heart Stood Still: The Love Songs of Richard Rodgers." Hailed by THE WASHINGTON POST as "a songstress who has triumphed in everything from Broadway-flavored tunes to opera arias and the sultry innuendoes of the cabaret chanteuse," Anna enjoys an international career performing in concerts, cabaret, theatre, opera, music festivals, with symphony orchestras, on television and recordings. Highlights: soloist at the White House and HM Queen Elizabeth's birthday celebration (June '11), Lincoln Center's American Songbook (with Barbara Cook), Kennedy Center's Sondheim Celebration in "A Little Night Music", Carnegie Hall's centennial Tribute to Ira Gershwin, Pasadena Pops, New York Festival of Song, Lyrics & Lyricists, "Hollywood In Love" with Princeton Symphony Orchestra (and Brent Barrett), Jeff Harnar's 1959 Broadway Songbook (London and 59E59 Theatres), concert version of "The Light In The Piazza" (as Margaret, with Adam Guettel and Matthew Morrison), Johnny Mercer centennial concerts (PBS special with Steve Ross) and her solo concert "A Salon with Anna Bergman" (PBS '07-'08). She continues to present her salon concerts internationally, most recently in Moscow, Chicago, and in Seattle for acclaimed glass artist Dale Chihuly. She has thrilled audiences from London's Café Royal and Brazil's Manaus Opera House to such music festivals as Aspen, Chicago Humanities, The Hamptons and International Festival Cardiff, Wales (BBC TV). Anna's signature repertoire celebrates the American songbook and European music in a range of styles, from pop to classical, in a variety of languages. She has garnered critical acclaim for her solo Concert-Cabarets at such venues as the Kennedy Center, Feinstein's at Loews Regency, Algonquin Hotel's Oak Room, The Stanhope Hotel, Caramoor & Strathmore Centers for Music & the Arts, Prince Music Theatre (Philadelphia), The Kravis Center and Colony Hotel (Palm Beach), Crest Theatre (Delray, FL), Guild Hall (East Hampton), Le Chat Noir (New Orleans)."
