CBS has announced that Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber is set for an interview and musical performance on LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT tonight, November 19th. Actress Jane Fonda is also scheduled to appear on the broadcast. Be sure to set your DVR's. BWW will bring you video of the appearance as soon as it becomes available.

Andrew Lloyd Webber's newest musical SCHOOL OF ROCK is now in previews on Broadway. Webber is the composer of The Likes of Us, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar, By Jeeves, Evita, Variations and Tell Me On A Sunday later combined as Song & Dance, Cats, Starlight Express, The Phantom of the Opera, Aspects of Love, Sunset Boulevard, Whistle Down the Wind, The Beautiful Game,The Woman in White, Love Never Dies and Stephen Ward. He composed the film scores of Gumshoe and The Odessa File and a setting of the Latin Requiem mass.

As well as many of his own shows, his producer credits include Daisy Pulls It Off, Lend Me a Tenor, Shirley Valentine, La Bête, the ground-breaking Bollywood musical, A R Rahman's Bombay Dreams, his smash hit productions of The Sound of Music and The Wizard of Oz at the London Palladium and the films of The Phantom of the Opera and the acclaimed Australian production of Love Never Dies.

THE LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT premiered on Tuesday, Sept. 8 on CBs.The show is broadcast from the historic Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City.

A multi-talented and respected host, writer, producer, satirist and comedian, Colbert is well-known for his previous late night show, "The Colbert Report," which concluded on Friday, Dec. 18, 2014. The program received wide-spread critical acclaim and earned two Peabody Awards and 29 Emmy Award nominations, including two Emmy wins for Outstanding Variety Series (2013, 2014) and four Emmy wins for Outstanding Writing for a Variety, Music or Comedy Program (2008, 2010, 2013, 2014). Prior to that, Colbert spent eight years as a correspondent on Comedy Central's "The Daily Show" as an on-air personality and writer of news satire for the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning series.
