No Name producer Eric Vetter wraps up the Uptown Cabaret Second Monday" monthly singers showcase at Manhattan's Indian Road Cafe on Monday, July 13 with a featured performance by vocalist / actress Amanda Baker.

Ms. Baker has spent the last 15-odd years performing on stages in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, and occasionally New York. As a studio singer, she's paid tribute to the music of Eva Cassidy, Diana Krall, Melody Gardot, and Peggy Lee. As a cabaret singer, her influences include Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Vera Lynn, Christy Moore, Dar Williams, Lyle Lovett, Cheryl Wheeler, and the Wailin' Jennies. She is partial to storytelling, prone to sarcasm, and a sucker for a sweet melody.

Hosted by the multi-talented Alex De Suze whose background includes acting, directing and singing at venues throughout the NYC-metro area, the show will also include musical director Mark Oleszko.

Vetter who has produced shows at alternative venues and performance spaces throughout the city for over 20 years called the Uptown Cabaret a great opportunity for singers, composers and lyricists to share their art in a safe and fun place. Indian Road Café, located at 600 West 218th Street, offers an excellent wine, beer and coffee selection as well as great food from paninis to lobster mac and cheese, all amidst a warm and casual atmosphere.

The final Uptown Cabaret show is scheduled to take place on Monday, July 13th @ 7:30pm with sign up beginning at 7:00pm No cover, no minimum and for additional information, call 212 942-7451. For more "No Name" information, go to nonamenyc.com
