Alexander Wang has brought his design aesthetic to Beats by Dr. Dre with a limited-edition collection of custom Beats products. "The limited-edition collection for Beats by Dr. Dre includes my favorite headphones and portable speaker," said Wang. "For this collaboration with Beats by Dr. Dre, it felt right and a natural choice for me to give the Beats Studio headphones, Beats Pill and Urbeats earbuds a clean, minimal look with a luxe sensibility."

The collection features a matte black finish with Wang's signature pale gold accents. Each one comes their own embossed glossy stingray case with zipper and clip.

The headphones are priced at $449 with the speaker retailed at $299 and the earbuds are $149. The collection will be available in a presale event on Dec. 15 at beatsbydre.com. Then they go on sale to the public on Dec. 16 at beatsbydre.com and alexanderwang.com.

Wang told WWD that he's a big fan of Beats by Dr. Dre and uses them especially when he travels. One of his reasons for doing the collaboration is because of how he's inspired by music. "I have always looked to music and musicians for inspiration and as collaborators because there is such a purity to their talent. Different types of music can also transform how you interpret or understand a fashion show, or film. It's creating a story and translating a message," said Wang.
