Talk Radio, recently nominated by the Outer Critics Circle, Drama League and Drama Desk for Outstanding Revival of a Play, will continue its acclaimed and controversial series of post-show talkbacks when the Rev. Al Sharpton and The Village Voice's Michael Musto appears onstage at the Longacre Theater along with members of the cast following the 8pm shows on May 15th and 16th respectively.

The series has previously featured Air America's Rachel Maddow, 92.3 Free FM's "RadioChick" Leslie Gold, WOR's Dr. Joy Browne, David Richardson, and Bob Grant, and WABC's Ron Kuby, Phil Boyce, Warner Wolf, and George Weber.

"With over 40 years of experience as a community leader, politician, minister and advocate, the Rev. Al Sharpton is one of America's most-renowned civil rights leaders. Whether running for President of the United States in 2004 or leading civil rights protests, Sharpton's highly visible career began at the tender age of four when he preached his first sermon. A successful civil rights career soon followed helping Sharpton hold such notable positions as the Youth Director of New York's Operation Breadbasket, Director of Ministers for National Rainbow Push coalition, and founder of his own broad-based progressive civil rights organization, the National Action Network. His radio talk show, "Keeping it REAL with Al Sharpton" airs daily in over twenty markets all across the country," state press materials.

"Michael Musto writes the popular, long running entertainment column "La Dolce Musto" in The Village Voice and recently had a book --a collection of his most memorable columns through the years--published under the same name by Carroll & Graf. Musto was named 'one of the wittiest stylists in the English language' in a 2002 UPI profile. In addition to his print-journalism ubiquity, he's a regular commentator on MSNBC, E!, and VH1."

Eric Bogosian's Talk Radio began its current run at the Longacre Theatre on Thursday, February 15, 2007. The acclaimed production has been nominated for Outstanding Revival by the Drama Desk, the Outer Critics Circle and the Drama League. Liev Schreiber, who portrays controversial talk host Barry Champlain, was recently award the Drama League award for Distinguished Performance, and received Best Actor nominations from the Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle.

Talk Radio's design team includes Drama Desk nominated sound designer Richard Woodbury along with Mark Wendland, Laura Bauer and Christopher Akerlind.
