The play "Strong Women" produced by the Akko Theatre Center follows three dominant women as they arrive to the "Hollow of the sling" seeking for forgiveness, and the three actors who play them:
Golda Meir embodied in Thiya Suleiman.
Eva Braun embodied in Moti Tamam.
Anna Karenina embodied in Maria Rosenfeld.
Each of the three characters is asking for forgiveness: Anna Karenina for abandoning her husband and son, Eva Braun for her love of a murderer, and Golda Meir for her responsibility for the Yom Kippur war.
The three must find forgiveness in order to move to the world beyond, for a proper rest.
The play is based on the true biographies of the creating actors along with fictive characters from history and literature that are mixed in each other, while at the end of the process the fiction of the borrowed character and the actors' true stories are inseparable.
