The Adirondack Shakespeare Company is back for their third Summer Festival Season and they're bringing the Bard's best with them! This year's season features Shakespeare's Twelfth Night and Hamlet, as well as Tom Stoppard's hilarious comedy Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead and a new ADK Shakes original children's show!

The Twelve Labors of Hercules, an original play for children, will open on July 11th at the Boathouse Theater in Schroon Lake. Hercules tells the story of Octavius and Agrippa, two young Romans who are magically transported back to Ancient Greece in order to learn an important lesson about friendship. Before they can return home, they must complete the twelve fantastical labors of Hercules!

To celebrate their third season, the cast of Hercules invites you to join them for a Showcase and Meet & Greet on July 17th at 4:00pm. Light refreshments will be served, and plenty of entertainment will be offered! The event will be hosted by the Paradox House Gallery Retreat and will feature a presentation of the cast's favorite scenes from the 2012 Summer Season, as well as a Silent Auction of items donated by members of the Adirondack Shakespeare Company. Items for auction include ADK Shakespeare t-shirts, posters and Season Passes, as well as original works from the cast! Donations to help support the season are welcome and warmly appreciated!

Present at the event will be ADK Shakes' Executive and Artistic Directors, Patrick Siler and Tara Bradway, respectively, along with the rest of the Hercules cast, which features Mitchell Conway as Agrippa/Hercules, Aaron White as Octavius/Iolaus and Rachel Ritacco as Athena. The company made the decision to continue with their original works for children after the success of last year's production, Theseus and the Minotaur, written by Sean Adams.
