Broadway Cares/ Equity Fights AIDS has announced additional celebrities scheduled to appear at the 23RD ANNUAL BROADWAY FLEA MARKET & GRAND AUCTION today. The event will be held Sunday, September 27th and is produced by and benefits BC/EFA.

The event will be held outdoors in Shubert Alley and is free and open to the public. Attendees with have the opportunity to do everything from posing with a favorite Broadway and Daytime stars for photos, to buying that lost cast recording, signed show posters and Playbills, rare costume sketches or special gift for a theatre-lover you can't find anywhere.

In addition, John Stamos (Bye Bye Birdie) will participate in this year's Celebrity Photo Booth from 11:30AM - 12:00PM. As in previous years, Broadway and daytime fans will have the opportunity to get their photo taken with various celebrities at the Celebrity Photo Booths. Additional names will be announced shortly.

This year's Live Auction begins at 5:00 PM and will feature auction lots that allow bidders unprecedented access to some of Broadway's and television's hottest shows. In addition, from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM, the Silent Auction allows fans the chance to win theatre memorabilia as well as one of a kind souvenirs from the entertainment world.

This year's live auction will be hosted by Bryan Batt and Lorna Kelly. The Silent Auction will be hosted by Michael Goddard and Felicia Finley.

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS is the nation's leading industry-based, nonprofit AIDS fundraising and grant-making organization. By drawing upon the talents, resources and generosity of the American theatre community, BC/EFA raises funds for AIDS-related causes and other critical illnesses across the United States. Since its founding in 1988, BC/EFA has raised over $160 million dollars for critically needed services for people with AIDS and other serious illnesses. BC/EFA is the major supporter of seven programs at The Actors' Fund - including The AIDS Initiative, The Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative, The Al Hirschfeld Free Health Clinic, The Dancers' Resource and three supportive housing residences. BC/EFA also awards annual grants to over 400 AIDS and family service organizations nationwide.
