"Parade" - World Premiere. The central image of this first piece is a parade of clowns with a marching band. The dance looks inward, toward the frontier of what we know about the human mind. The parade is an apt image of imagination, absurdity and ritual. The play between the disorganized clowns and the hyper-ordered rank-and-file marching band exemplifies the tension between instinct and intellect, rational and irrational, unconscious and conscious.

"Frontier" - "Dark matter" and "dark energy" are the terra incognita of our day. This second dance looks outward, to the frontier of the universe, exploring the dark and invisible forces that evolve to shape our galaxy and, ultimately, us.

Please RSVP to Ray Forsythe RLForsythe@RLForsythe.com (212) 861-2100
