ALADDIN'S Daisy Hobbs releases her original song "Everyone Wants to Hear a Black Girl Belt" on iTunes today.

The song was a collaborative effort between Hobbs and singer/songwriters Joanna Burns (City of Dreams) and Amanda Duncan.

Hobbs is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and her luminous soprano has been heralded by the New York Beacon as "breathtaking."

Hobbs just made her acclaimed solo concert debut entitled "HERE, An Evening of Song" on January 11, 2015 to a sold out crowd at Stage 72 at The Triad and has already been invited back for a second appearance.

"Everyone Wants to Hear a Black Girl Belt" premiered as the second song of the evening where it received a standing ovation. Watch video of the performance below.
