Following its sold out run at South Coast Reportory's Studio SCR series, the critically acclaimed ABSOLUTELY FILTHY will be premiering at The New York International Fringe Festival (FringeNYC), with performances from August 8th through the 24th at Venue #17, The Players Theatre (115 MacDougal Street between West 3rd and Bleeker). Tickets for ABSOLUTELY FILTHY are $18 - $24 and the performance schedule will be as follows: Friday, August 8th at 9:15pm, Wednesday, August 13th at 7pm, Tuesday, August 19th at 2pm, Thursday August 21st at 7pm and Friday, August 22nd at 2pm. ABSOLUTELY FILTHY centers on a homeless man (Hunt) perpetually surrounded by a cloud of dust and grime. He suddenly finds his life even more difficult to bear when he stumbles upon the funeral of his long-estranged best friend. But as he re-connects with his childhood pals, he finds he may have a shot at redemption. ABSOLUTELY FILTHY is a dark, dirty comedy that takes a look at a group of characters after they leave the funny pages and head out into the real world.

Originally produced by Hollywood's infamous Sacred Fools Theatre Company, ABSOLUTELY FILTHY is directed by Jeremy Aldridge and written by Brendan Hunt.

The show enjoyed an extended run in early 2013, and was bestowed with eight LA Weekly Award nominations, winning three: Best Comedy Ensemble, Best Female Comedy Performance (Anna Douglas) and Best Male Performance for star and writer Brendan Hunt. The show also received accolades during its run in last summer's Hollywood Fringe Festival, with Hunt again winning Best Actor, and the show itself taking home awards for Best Comedy and Top of the Fringe, the award for the festival's single best show.

The Hollywood Reporter calls ABSOLUTELY FILTHY "Intense and compelling! An ambitious play grandly served by the consistently pitch-perfect ensemble and inspired, imaginative direction," while The Huffington Post raves that the show is "Absolutely stupendous! La Weekly calls it "Darkly hilarious comedy gold" and LA Stage Times calls Brendan Hunt's performance "Unlike any you've ever seen!"
