This week marks the one-year anniversary of the start of "A New York Minute with Jim Caruso," a weekly showbiz radio segment heard at 8:20am Wednesdays on "The Morning Lounge" with Rich and Jill Switzer on Legends 100.3 FM radio and online. The fifty-two segments have celebrated Broadway shows (Hamilton, Bright Star, Fully Committed, Fiddler on the Roof, Something Rotten, School of Rock, The Color Purple, The Phantom of the Opera, Waitress, On The Town, etc.), cabaret, and off-Broadway events.

The popular weekly segment, sponsored by "Kravis on Broadway" is a rapid-fire, insider update on all things pertaining to musical and theatrical entertainment in Manhattan. Caruso is a font of information on the Broadway, concert, and the nightclub scenes, and has a special interest in music from the Great American Songbook.

For the past thirteen years, Jim Caruso has curated the award-winning Broadway at Birdland concert series and hosted the extreme open mic "Cast Party" all over the world. As a performer, he sang and danced with Liza Minnelli in the Tony Award-winning Liza's At The Palace, crooned standards at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and the White House, and has a regular engagement at Bemelmans Bar at The Carlyle Hotel, along with his longtime musical director and singing partner, Billy Stritch.

Legends 100.3 is a full power live and local FM radio station based in Florida's beautiful Palm Beaches playing the best music ever created. It's the Great American Songbook with artists including Frank Sinatra, Michael Bublé, Ella Fitzgerald, Diana Krall, Harry Connick, Jr., Vic Damone, Jack Jones, Rod Stewart, Tony Bennett, and many many more. Legends 100.3 is fortunate to be independent and locally owned and operated. Legends 100.3 was founded by professional broadcaster Dick Robinson with the express purpose to showcase and preserve the greatest music ever recorded and to present the music in a fun, upbeat, and community-focused fashion.
