"A Gershwinter Night", a once-in-a-lifetime concert, featuring the Sean Jones International All-Star Quintet with special guest Eli Degibri, the famed Israeli saxophonist and Director of the Red Sea Jazz Festival, will take place at the August Wilson Center for African American Culture on December 29 at 8 p.m. and December 30 at 2 p.m.

To round out the super-star quintet, the concert will feature the unstoppable Roger Humphries on drums; globe-trotting bassist-extraordinaire Dwayne Dolphin; the sweetest piano in Pittsburgh, Alton Merrell; the mesmerizing vocals of Carolyn Perteete and the incomparable Sean Jones on trumpet. This presentation will be a tribute to the music of George and Ira Gershwin, including selections from the classic opera, Porgy and Bess.
