A. D. Players announces that the original musical Joshua and the Ta-Ra, Ta-Raa, Ta-Raaa! will open July 14 and run through August 16, 2015. Performances will take place on the Grace Theater stage as the final show of the company's 2014-2015 Children's Theater season.

A wildly entertaining musical comedy for children of all ages about Joshua and the Battle of Jericho. Follow our storytellers as they weave the tale of how Joshua was chosen to lead the Israelites to claim the Promised Land. And of course, a story about those falling walls! Faced with obstacles along the way, a young boy discovers that fears can be overcome with the help of God and family. Catchy and clever, this musical delights with messages of Faith and perseverance.

"I've always found the message of Joshua and the Ta-Ra, Ta-Raa, Ta-Raaa! to not only be profound but also infinitely relatable. 'Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid.' To me, that's the point, being obedient in the face of overwhelming and terrifying odds. Whether the mighty Jordan river stands in your way or the impenetrable wall of Jericho, do not be afraid! God's got your back! I always marvel at how the Lord uses stories, theater in particular, to not only encourage us but to truly impact our life. I hope you're not afraid to "get your feet wet" and experience this life changing story!" -Kevin Dean, Director
