On Saturday and Sunday, December 17-18, 2016, A Class Act NY, the award-winning acting studio for kids and teens, proudly presented Urinetown and Annie Jr. at the beautiful Off Broadway Five Angels Theater. Talented young actors, ages 7-20, started rehearsing in October, and they pulled off outstanding performances!

The double-cast productions of Urinetown and Annie Jr. were produced by Jessica Rofé, Artistic Director of A Class Act NY. Urinetown was directed by Christian Fleming, music direction by Trevor M. Pierce, and starred James Borrelli and Aidan La Poche as Bobby Strong and Daria Fatemi and Sophia Romano as Hope Cladwell. Annie Jr. was directed by Drew Gardner, music direction by Eric Fotre Leach, and starred Makayla Connolly and Tai Lyn Sandhu as Annie, Kate Stiene and Ashley Konner as Miss Hannigan, and Joseph Bogovic, Jr. as Oliver Warbucks.

A Class Act NY is holding auditions soon for Aladdin Jr. and Spamalot! Aladdin Jr. will be a one-act junior musical featuring actors ages 7-11 and Spamalot will be a MainStage, two-act production featuring actors ages 12-20. Auditions take place on January 14th and 15th 2017 in NYC. Performances will take place May 20th and 21st at the Five Angels Theatre.
